Jungkook of BTS releases new song 'Never Let Go' as a gift for fans

The BTS vocalist on Friday released the song "Never Let Go," a tribute to his fans around the world. The song dropped ahead of the South Korean supergroup's anniversary on the 13th as part of the annual BTS Festa.
Jungkook has been serving in the South Korean military since Dec. 12, 2023. He enlisted under the “Companion Soldiers” system along with fellow member Jimin, which means they will be going to the same training center and living units.
Before his enlistment, the 26-year-old idol released his album “GOLDEN” in November of last year. The 11-track album has the previously released hits “3D (feat. Jack Harlow),” as well as the clean and explicit versions of “Seven (feat. Latto).”
BTS has been on hiatus since 2023, as members undergo their mandatory military service. Jin will be the first member to be discharged from the military on June 12. They are set to reconvene as a group in 2025. —JCB, GMA Integrated News
