'Assassin's Creed Shadows': Ubisoft drops jaw-dropping trailer set in Feudal Japan

Assassin's Creed is taking us to Feudal Japan, and we're seated!

Ubisoft just launched the official world premiere trailer for "Assassin's Creed Shadows," the new installment for the popular video game franchise.

The trailer introduces Naoe, a "lethal shinobi assassin" from Iga Province, and Yasuke, a "powerful legendary samurai" of historical legend.

Set in the backdrop of the turbulent late Sengoku period, the duo will "discover their common destiny as they usher in a new era for Japan."

The full gameplay is set to be revealed in June.
