'The Last of Us' releases new images for Season 2

HBO just unveiled new images of the upcoming "The Last of Us" Season 2!

The photos show a closeup of Pedro Pascal as Joel and Bella Ramsey as Ellie, unveiled during the Warner Bros. Discovery Upfront presentation by Casey Bloys, Chairman and CEO of HBO and Max Content.

"The Last of Us" Season 2 is currently in production following a record-breaking first season as the most-watched debut season of a series ever for HBO.

The new season will debut in 2025. 

"The Last of Us" is based on the 2013 action-adventure Playstation game that features Joel, a smuggler escorting teenage girl Ellie. Together they fight hostile cannibalistic creatures.
