Ben&Ben reacts to Marian Rivera's 'Could Be Something' dance steps

The members of Ben&Ben said they never thought Marian Rivera would take their request seriously after they challenged her to make dance steps for their song, "Could Be Something."

In Aubrey Carampel's report on "24 Oras," Wednesday, the Filipino indie folk-pop band said that it all started with a not-so-serious request.

"Baka naman, Ate Marian. Kung baka puwedeng gawan ng steps 'tong isang kanta namin, 'yung 'Could Be Something.' Tapos ginawa niya," Miguel Benjamin said.

"Ngayon, balik sa amin 'yung bola kasi sabi niya gawin n'yo rin," he said.

Marian and her husband, Dingdong Dantes, became friends with the band when their movie, "Rewind," used Ben&Ben's song.

Paolo Benjamin and Dingdong also became fitness buddies.

"Dami kong natutunan kay Kuya Dong. Naabot niya na 'yung naabot niya pero grabe pa rin 'yung passion niya sa pag-learn ng mga bagay tsaka pag-improve," Paolo said.

Ben&Ben is set to release new music on Friday titled "COMETS."

In 2023, Ben&Ben released the singles "Could Be Something," "Courage," and "Autumn." That year, the folk-pop band was the Philippines' no. 1 streamed OPM artist on Spotify.

More of Ben&Ben's recent achievements include performing with Ed Sheeran and having their songs featured in the musical adaptation of the classic film "One More Chance."
