Miguel Tanfelix shares video of him recording iconic 'Voltes V' battle cry

Miguel Tanfelix showed what went on behind the scenes of his "Voltes V: Legacy" recording session.

His character, the Voltes Team's leader Steve Armstrong, is known for shouting out the iconic "Voltes V" when the group heads into a battle.

One year since the series made its debut, the Sparkle actor said on Tiktok that the moment is still giving him goosebumps.

Miguel also shared how he recorded the famous audio.

"Breathe in, breathe out. Internalize ka muna, isipin mo sa 'yo nakasalalay 'yung buong mundo," he said in his caption.

Miguel's second step is to call in Raphael Landicho, who played Little Jon Armstrong, for moral support. The actor is seen smiling and giggling behind Miguel while he was recording.

"Voltes V: Legacy," the Philippine live-action remake of the iconic anime series, premiered on GMA Network in 2023. It is now back on TV as part of GMA Afternoon Prime.

Aside from Miguel and Raphael, the series starred Ysabel Ortega as Jamie Robinson, Matt Lozano as Big Bert Armstrong, and Radson Flores as Mark Gordon.

The cast and crew previously teased that there is more to come with "Voltes V: Legacy."
