Eraserheads to go on tour in the US, Canada, Dubai
The Eraserheads are set to continue their world tour.
According to an Instagram Reel by Ely Buendia, reposted from his manager and ex-wife Diane Ventura, the legendary OPM band is headed to San Francisco and Los Angeles in California, Honolulu in Hawaii, Toronto in Canada, and Dubai in the United Arab Emirates.
Exact dates, venues, and ticketing details for the concerts are yet to be announced.
Composed of Ely Buendia, Raimund Marasigan, Buddy Zabala, and Marcus Adoro, Eraserheads took the stage at the SMDC Festival Grounds for a one-night-only show titled Huling El Bimbo in 2022.
The massive show drew in an estimated crowd of more than 60,000 fans. The Eraserheads opened the show by playing their 1995 album “Cutterpillow” in order and played most of their hit songs as well as personal favorites. The concert also featured a hologram of the late FrancisM, plus guest performances of Elmo Magalona, Arkin Magalona, Gary Valenciano, Eon Buendia, Diego Mapa, and Diego Castillo.
Following the Philippine concert, the Eraserheads toured the US and Canada in 2023.
Last March, Ely and Raimund reunited at a gig to perform “Superproxy” together.
