Jennie of BLACKPINK and ZICO drop new song 'SPOT!'

ZICO and Jennie of BLACKPINK have released their collaboration song “SPOT!” and it’s making fans dance.

The new song has a ‘90s hip-hop type beat, with an equally nostalgic music video to match. ZICO and Jennie don outfits reminiscent of the 1990s as they go around the city performing the song and dancing with a group. Jennie sings the chorus and also raps a verse, whereas ZICO brought his signature rap and hip-hop skills.

“SPOT!” is ZICO’s first single since 2022, after “Freak.”

ZICO debuted as the leader of the boyband Block B in 2011 and made his first solo release in 2014. The hip-hop artist launched KOZ Entertainment in 2019.

Meanwhile, Jennie launched her own record label, Odd Atelier, in December 2023. BLACKPINK’s agency YG Entertainment announced that the four members did not renew their solo contracts with them, but would continue under the agency for their group activities.
