Steve Carell and John Krasinski, iconic for their roles in American sitcom "The Office," recently reunited to work on their upcoming film "IF."
Krasinski writes, directs, and stars in the film, while Carell is among the voice cast of the unique characters.
"IF" is about a girl who discovers that she can see everyone’s imaginary friends — and what she does with that superpower — as she embarks on a magical adventure to reconnect forgotten IFs with their kids.
"Blue is played by Steve Carell, who happens to be a dear friend, we actually worked together on this little thing a long time ago," Krasinski said.
In a video shared by Paramount Pictures, Krasinski and Carell shared a hug, saying, "It's so good to see you."
Krasinski told Carell, "I was just telling you guys, has it been years?"
Carell confirmed, "Years. I'm glad we're getting it, this is so intimate."
"The Office" first aired in 2005 and ran for nine seasons. It revolves around the employees of a paper supply company in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Carell played Michael Scott and Krasinski played Jim Halpert.
"IF" will be in theaters on May 17. —JCB, GMA Integrated News
