‘Lumpia Queen’ Abi Marquez bags The Webby Award in General Social: Food & Drink Category for 2024

You’re a winner, Lumpia Queen!

Abi Marquez, famously known as the “Lumpia Queen” on TikTok, was named People’s Voice Winner in the General Social: Food & Drink Category of the 28th Webby Awards.

With over 3.3 million followers on TikTok, Abi is one of the leading food creators in the Philippines. One of her most famous videos is a Jollibee-inspired peach mango pie created with lumpia wrappers. 

When she announced her nomination on TikTok, Abi said she's "always been proud to highlight Filipino food" she she started creating content two years ago.

“And recently, I’m so happy to discover that these TikToks alone have reached one billion views worldwide,” she added. “A huge milestone for me and my country.”

And now with a Webby, Abi adds another feather to her cap.
