Taylor Swift drops new video teaser for 'The Tortured Poets Department'
Taylor Swift just loves to keep her fans guessing!
The singer unveiled the timetable of her upcoming album “The Tortured Poets Department” in an Instagram teaser.
The video takes fans to the office of The Tortured Poets Department, which has two typewriters. The video zooms in on a calendar on April 19, which said that it is the album’s release date, and that a music video will also be coming out at 8 p.m. ET, or 8 a.m. on April 20 in the Philippines.
Eagle-eyed Swifties already saw some Easter Eggs in the video, such as a copy of “Midnights,” the number 14, a clock stuck at 2 p.m., a photo of Taylor and her cat Meredith, and a photo of her at The Eras Tour.
"Record store day!" was also scheduled for April 20 but this was not fully seen in the final shot.
Taylor first revealed “The Tortured Poets Department” in February when she won her 13th Grammy Award. Later that month, she announced the album’s new edition with a bonus track titled “The Bolter.”
The album will feature 16 songs.
Taylor recently finished the Asian leg of The Eras Tour, which is in support of her 2022 album, “Midnights.” She is set to start the European tour in May.
Aside from “Midnights,” the popstar dropped the Taylor’s Version of her album “1989” in October 2023.
