Origin film 'Transformers One' to premiere in September

Optimus Prime and Megatron are gearing up to return to theaters in September.

"Transformers One," an upcoming animated origin film, made the announcement with a short teaser showing the title card.

"Every hero has an origin," they captioned.

Chris Hemsworth and Brian Tyree Henry will voice young Optimus Prime and young Megatron.

The lead actors introduced the first look video at CinemaCon 2024 in Las Vegas, according to a report on Variety.

"This origin story is how they transformed from brothers in arms to sworn enemies,” said Henry.

"Transformers One" will follow 2023 film "Transformers: Rise of the Beasts," the seventh installment in the Transformers franchise.
