Billie Eilish announces release date of new album ‘Hit Me Hard and Soft,’ sustainability plan

Billie Eilish is set to release her new album soon!

On Instagram, the award-winning singer-songwriter announced her third album, “Hit Me Hard and Soft,” is coming out on May 17.

“So crazy to be writing this right now i’m nervyyyyy & exciteddd,” she said.

Billie worked once again with her brother, Finneas, saying they "truly could not be more proud of this album and we absolutely can’t wait for you to hear it.

According to Billie, will not be releasing singles because she wants to “give it to you all at once.”

That's not the only thing different with "Hit Me hard and Soft."

In her website, Billie shared her sustainability plan for the record. Vinyl copies will be pressed on 100% recycled records or eco-vinyl, and packaging will be made with recycled materials.

"In place of shrink-wrap, the sleeves are 100% recycled and re-usable," it added.

Billie's most recent work include “What Was I Made For?" which was the official soundtrack of the film “Barbie," directed by Greta Gerwig.

She was last in the Philippines in August 2022, for her sold-out "Happier Than Ever" concert.
