G-Dragon confirms comeback happening this year
G-Dragon is making a comeback real soon!
The South Korean rapper is set to return with new music in the second half of 2024, his agency Galaxy Corporation announced, as published by Soompi.
“G-Dragon will make a comeback in the second half of this year. After making his comeback, he will be carrying out global activities, and activities in Japan are also planned as part of them,” they said.
They added that Galaxy Corporation’s Japan branch will support the idol’s new projects.
G-Dragon’s 2024 comeback was first teased late last year when he signed with Galaxy Corporation.
His exclusive contract with YG Entertainment expired in June 2023.
G-Dragon rose to fame as the leader of BIGBANG, which debuted in 2006. He released his first solo album “Heartbreaker” in 2009. His solo hits include “Untitled, 2014,” “CROOKED,” “Without You (feat. ROSE),” and more.
Meanwhile, BIGBANG made their much-awaited comeback in 2022 with “Still Life.” The group is behind the hits “BANG BANG BANG,” “Fantastic Baby,” and “LOSER” among many others. —Nika Roque/JCB, GMA Integrated News
