'Joker 2' drops first official poster, to premiere trailer on April 9

Joker and Harley Quinn are slow dancing their way to the big screen.

In the first official poster for "Joker: Folie à Deu,' lead stars Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga can be seen pulling off a dip.

Notably, Lady Gaga, who plays Harley Quinn, has a hint of Joker makeup on her face as well.

"The world is a stage," the post said.

The trailer is set to be released on April 9.

Director Todd Phillips has been sharing teaser photos on his social media, the latest of which show Joker and Harley Quinn dancing together.

"Joker: Folie à Deu," which will be a musical, is the sequel to the hit 2019 film "Joker." They completed production in April last year.

It is set for release on October 4, 2024.
