Did Netflix just drop a clue for 'One Piece' Season 2?
Netflix may or may not have dropped a hint of what's to come in the upcoming season of the "One Piece" live action.
The streaming platform celebrated the birthday of Usopp, the sniper of the Straw Hat Pirates, with a fun video featuring actor Jacob Gibson. Two problems: Usopp is a known fibber, and his birthday falls on April 1, also known as April Fool's Day.
In the video, Jacob answers some of fans' most pressing questions for Season 2, and predictably, he clearly lies and makes a lot of stuff throughout most of it.
Near the end, however, Jacob threatens to spill the beans and moves to pull down a curtain. Although he was stopped, the curtain falls, revealing a drawing of a dinosaur and Usopp.
Dinosaurs in "One Piece?" It sounds like a tall tale, but fans know it actually happened! The Little Garden arc might just be adapted into the live action series.
Netflix's "One Piece" is based on the manga by Eiichiro Oda, which has been running since 1997.
The story follows Monkey D. Luffy (Iñaki Godoy) as he goes on a journey to find the treasure called the One Piece and become King of the Pirates.
Netflix released its live action adaptation in August last year, and it became a huge global hit.
It is expected that the upcoming season will introduce at least one more crew member — Chopper, everyone's favorite doctor.
