Lola Amour assures fans that Raymond King is still 'part of the upcoming album'

Lola Amour on Thursday reassured fans that their bassist and songwriter Raymond King is still part of the band in some ways.

The OPM band replied to a fan on X, who spoke about their various lineup changes through the years.

“They went through a lot of hard times. I hope their musicality won't change after Ray leaving the band,” the fan said.

Lola Amour quote-tweeted the post and said that Raymond had worked on their upcoming music.

“Might be comforting for you guys to know that Ray is still part of the upcoming album +  some unreleased tracks after the album,” they said.

Raymond announced that he is leaving the band after eight years on Wednesday. He said he would be focusing on his long-term goals and added, “Now, I choose to be happy.”

Lola Amour’s self-titled debut album drops on April 10. The nine-track compilation will include “Raining in Manila” and the band’s latest single, “Namimiss Ko Na.”

The band will have a two-stop album launch at Circuit Event Grounds on April 13, followed by a trip to Draft Punk, Cebu on April 27. Tickets are now on sale via http://lolaamour.helixpay.ph.

Lola Amour toured the Philippines in 2023 in support of “Raining in Manila.”

Early this year, the OPM artists performed their megahit with Coldplay at the Philippine Arena. Even ENHYPEN, National Artist Ricky Lee, and BamBam can’t get enough of “Raining in Manila.”
