V of BTS explores loneliness and heartbreak in new single 'FRI(END)S'
V of BTS brought the feels in his newest single “FRI(END)S.”
The singer explores themes of loneliness in the accompanying music video. V is all alone, and is surrounded by couples who showcase some PDA.
V sings about falling for somebody who he thought he could have a romantic relationship with, but who just sees him as a friend. Because of this, a heartbroken V then just wants to end the friendship.
However, in the second half of the video, V is so in love with a girl and the couples surrounding them have arguments. A plot twist sees V waking up alone.
V released his debut solo album “Layover” last September 2023. It includes the songs “Love Me Again,” “Rainy Days,” “Slow Dancing,” “Blue,” and “For Us.”
He recently starred in IU’s music video for “Love Wins All” and was featured in UMI’s song “Wherever U R.”
