Universal Woman Philippines 2024 Maria Gigante flies to Cambodia for international pageant

Philippine bet Maria Gigante is now headed to Cambodia for the upcoming Universal Woman 2024 pageant!

On Instagram, Universal Woman Philippines shared photos from Maria’s departure.

“May you shine on that stage and bring home the first-ever Universal Woman crown for the Philippines!” the organization wrote.

The Filipina beauty wore a custom set by Jeremiah Oribe, which was inspired by the Philippines’ traditional textures, matched with accessories from local brand Kataw.

Maria was appointed Universal Woman Philippines 2024 in January.

She previously joined the Miss World Philippines pageant in 2022, where she received the Miss Non-Fungible Beauty special award.

She also took home the Best in Creative Editorial Fashion Photo alongside Cassandra Bermeo Chan.

The Universal Woman 2024 preliminary competition is set for March 21, while the grand finale is happening on March 22.
