'Avatar: The Last Airbender' renewed for Seasons 2 and 3
Aang and his friends will be back for more reality-bending adventures!
Netflix has renewed "Avatar: The Last Airbender" for Seasons 2 and 3 following a successful first season.
According to the streaming platform, the live action series reigned as the top English TV show with 41.1M views in just the first 11 days, ranking no. 1 in 76 countries and in the top 10 in 92 countries.
"Avatar: The Last Airbender" premiered on Netflix on February 22.
The show is based on the widely popular Nickelodeon animated series that ran from 2005 to 2008. The story follows Aang and his friends as they hone their skills and attempt to end the Hundred Year War in order to bring back peace among the four nations.
It stars Gorden Cormier as Aang, Kiawentiio as Katara, Ian Ousley as Sokka, and Dallas Liu as Zuko.
