'Parasyte: The Grey' live-action series by 'Train to Busan' director headed to Netflix
What would happen if parasitic life forms infiltrate Korea?
You can soon witness it in the upcoming “Parasyte: The Grey” live-action adaptation by Netflix.
Based on the legendary manga “Parastye” by Hitoshi Iwaaki, the show follows Su-in, portrayed by Jeon So-nee, as she grapples with her newfound coexistence with a parasite.
Simultaneously, the series also follows the efforts of “Team Grey,” a group dedicated to fighting mysterious parasites that live off humans.
Aside from So-nee, the series also stars Koo Kyo-hwan, Lee Jung-hyun, Kwon Hae-hyo, and Kim In-kwon.
Directed by Yeon Sang-ho, the genius behind "Train to Busan," “The King of Pigs,” and “The Fake,” “Parasyte: The Grey” is set to premiere on Netflix on April 5.
