Pia Wurtzbach attends Milan Fashion Week: 'Mrs. Jauncey coming through'
Pia Wurtzbach is back in Milan for fashion week!
On Thursday, the Miss Universe 2015 shared her first day back in Milan. The beauty queen and newly minted author said her first agenda in the fashion capital is to do fittings for the shows she will attend.
"It feels good to be back in the city," Pia said on her Instagram broadcast channel.
"The weather is great, the food is amazing and tempting as always, and the fashion is here! Now!" she added. "What's not to love."
Pia also shared her "fitting look," a leather trench coat over a white button-down top and a pair of blue jeans.
"Mrs. Jauncey coming through," she said.
In October last year, Pia's husband, Jeremy Jauncey, revealed the beauty queen thought she would never make it to fashion weeks after the three-year struggle to make it to the European fashion scene.
"Under the radar, you grinded. And grinded. And grinded. And despite even as early as this year being told you'd never make it to fashion weeks and your best years were behind you, you did," Jeremy said.
Last year, Pia also attended Paris and Milan Fashion Weeks. In Milan, she was among those who generated high media impact value, along with Heart Evangelista and Liza Soberano.
Aside from her dream of attending fashion weeks, Pia also achieved another goal of publishing her novel, "Queen of the Universe."
