Netflix's 'Avatar: The Last Airbender' releases final trailer ahead of premiere
Netflix's "Avatar: The Last Airbender" is almost here!
The streaming giant just released the upcoming show's final trailer ahead of its premiere.
This time, the focus is placed on the "avatar state," described as Aang's ultimate weapon. The trailer shows him activating the avatar state, floating in the air and causing destruction around him.
The trailer also shows the water tribe defending their territory from a Fire Nation attack, and teases an exciting fight between Sokka and Zuko.
It also shows a glimpse of the Air Nomads and their sky bisons.
"I don’t know where this will all lead, but one thing I do know is this is just the beginning," Aang said.
"Avatar: The Last Airbender" is based on the popular cartoon series that aired on Nickelodeon from 2005 to 2008. It follows Aang and his friends as they hone their skills and attempt to end the Hundred Year War in order to bring back peace among the four nations.
Netflix ordered a live-action adaptation in 2018.
Starring Gorden Cormier as Aang, Kiawentiio as Katara, Ian Ousley as Sokka, and Dallas Liu as Zuko, "Avatar: The Last Airbender" premieres on Netflix on February 22. —JCB, GMA Integrated News
