Rico Blanco thanks fans after Rivermaya's successful reunion concert

Rico Blanco has nothing but appreciation for everyone who attended Rivermaya's reunion concert on Saturday.

On Instagram, the former band vocalist and guitarist shared some snaps taken from the concert over the weekend.

The post featured a photo of the OPM band performing on stage, and a backstage photo of them praying before the concert started.

"Maraming salamat po," he wrote.

Rivermaya performed in front of thousands of fans at SMDC Concert Grounds. They sang some of their hit songs "Elesi," and "Ulan." 

Among the fans who jammed to the band's hit songs were a couple of celebrities the likes of Maris Racal, who fangirled over her beau Rico; Sparkle actress Shuvee Etrata, and Jolina Magdangal, who was there to show support to her husband the band's vocalist Mark Escueta.

There was a long 10-minute tech difficulty but Rivermaya more than made up with a great setlist, Rico's solo performance, Bamboo's performance of a Rico song, and more.
