'Umbrella Academy' announces August 8 premiere

"The Umbrella Academy" is set to premiere on August 8!

Netflix made the announcement on Thursday with a series of posters showing the Hargreeves siblings in both their old uniforms and current outfits.

"Happy 5 years to The Umbrella Academy. The final season is on its way," they said.

The first season of the popular show premiered on February 15, 2019. The upcoming fourth season is set to be its last.

Based on Gerard Way's comic book, "The Umbrella Academy" stars Tom Hopper, Elliot Page, Aidan Gallagher, Robert Sheehan, Emmy Raver-Lampman, and David Castañeda. The story revolves around seven siblings who were born with special abilities and are tasked to save the world from ending.

Season 4 began production in February of this year.
