'X-Men '97' picks up where the original cartoon left off in official trailer

The X-Men will keep fighting on in their upcoming revival show!

Marvel Studios Animation just released the official trailer for "X-Men '97," and they're picking up where the original '90s cartoon left off.

"X-Men: The Animated Series" ended with the death of Professor X, a scene shown in the beginning of the "X-Men '97" trailer. It then shows the aftermath of the tragedy, with the X-Men working together against new challenges.

"We get this done by working together as a team," Cyclops says.

Other characters like Jean Grey, Wolverine, Storm, and Rogue, among others, also appear in the trailer, accompanied by the original theme song.

"X-Men '97" is set to premiere on Disney+ on March 20. The first season will have 10 episodes. —JCB, GMA Integrated News
