Two pop queens are coming together!
Ariana Grande is joining forces with one of her longtime idols, Mariah Carey, for a remix of her comeback single “yes, and?”
On Instagram, Ariana shared her feels on Instagram, saying “I cannot believe the words I am typing... Yes, And? Remix feat the one and only, queen of my heart and lifelong inspiration @mariahcarey is out this Friday!!!!!!!!!!!”
Ariana said that no words could describe how happy she is with this collab.
Tagging Mariah, she said, “Thank you from the bottom of my heart for this dream come true and for sprinkling your brilliance and magic on my little song."
“It means more to me than I could ever possibly articulate and I cannot wait for everyone to hear this! I love you eternally!!!!!!!” she added.
Mariah is likewise very happy to work with Ariana.
“Darling angel, I am so effing excited to be joining you on the yes, and? remix!! This is such a magical moment!! Love you,” she said.
“yes, and?” is the first track from Ariana’s comeback album “eternal sunshine” which comes out on March 8.
Ariana first hinted at working on new music with photos and videos of her in action in the studio last December.
The singer has been taking a break from music because she is starring in the film adaptation of the musical “Wicked” as Glinda, The Good Witch. The fantastical first trailer for the movie was released on February 12.
Her last album “Positions” was released in 2020. She briefly returned to music as part of The Weeknd’s “Die For You” remix, which dropped last February. Ariana also released the 10th-anniversary edition of her debut album “Yours Truly” in August.
