Marina Summers releases MV for 'AMAFILIPINA,' her talent performance at 'Drag Race: UK vs. The World'

Marina Summers, a gift that keeps on giving!

As promised, the lone Asian and Filipino representative in the second season of “Drag Race: UK vs. The World” has released the official music video for “AMAFILIPINA,” her performance at the competition, which was a spin-off from Maymay Entrata’s “AMAKABOGERA.”

In the MV, uploaded on YouTube on Sunday, Marina could be seen clad in the original outfit she wore in the show, a custom Phoenix corset by Filipino fashion designer Jaz Cerezo.

On X (Formerly Twitter), drag fans worldwide are lauding Marina for her next-level post-episode content.

Seddera Side, a famous drag fan and supporter of Filipino queens, said Marina “is lowkey [revolutionizing] what post-drag race content looks like,” commending her music video.

Recently, Miss Universe 2023 Top 10 finalist Michelle Dee showed her support for Marina. She also called on her fans to support the Filipina drag queen in the international competition.

Other celebrities who expressed support for Marina include Anne Curtis, who told Marina she ate up her performance during the lip sync showdown with France’s Le Grande Dame in the first episode.

Marina made an unforgettable entrance on the show with a stunning Filipiniana look.
