Marina Summers makes an unforgettable entrance at 'Drag Race UK vs The World'

Marina Summers is set to compete in the second season of “RuPaul’s Drag Race: UK vs. the World,” and she came prepared!

In a teaser clip shared by the show on Instagram, the Filipina drag queen could be seen making an unforgettable entrance.

As she stood behind the curtains, the candidates tried to guess who she was.

Once the curtains were raised, Marina Summers removed her veil and said, "Mabuhay, bitches," before strutting down the runway.

"It's time to give these colonizers the chop," she said, unsheathing a sword, much to candidates' delight.

In the comments section of the IG video, Marina Summers said, "IT’S GIVING ICONIC ENTRANCE LINE."

Lea Salonga said, "COLONIZERS!" while Bretman Rock commented, "Exactly ma."

On X (formerly Twitter), Marina shared fashion editorial photos of her look, and said "I’m back to defend the MOTHERLAND!"

"From the Pearl of The Orient Seas to the WORLD! Simulan na ang himagsikan! Time to put these colonizers on the chopping block," she added.

Marina Summers is the only Asian representative in the season. She is also the first drag queen to represent the Philippines in an international edition of the Emmy Award-winning original series.

 

“RuPaul’s Drag Race: UK vs. the World" Season 2 will premiere on February 9.
