Fans of NCT 127's Doyoung hire plane to fly banner dedicated to K-pop idol

Fans of NCT 127 member Doyoung expressed their love for the K-pop idol in the grandest way they can think of: hiring a plane to carry a banner showing their support!

On his Instagram Stories, Doyoung shared a video of the plane flying at the Philippine Sports Stadium complex in Bulacan, hours before their "NEO City: The Unity" tour started on Sunday.

The plane was flying a banner saying: "PH Doppus always with Doyoung," a fan project made especially by his Filipino fans.

"PH NCTzens you guys made me proud," Doyoung wrote in the story.

In another Instagram story, the NCT 127's main vocalist shared a selfie of him and wrote: "Doyoung always with NCTZEN" accompanied by an airplane emoji.

Doyoung also mentioned the fan project in his speech during their concert on Sunday, saying he was touched because of it.

According to Doyoung Team PH, the fan group behind the heartwarming project, they wanted to express their love and support for Doyoung in the loudest way possible.

"Doyoung is someone who loves loudly and proudly so we thought it's only right to show our love for him as loud as we can too," they said in an interview with GMA News Online. 

According to them, it was a collective effort from everyone and everything paid off as it reached and touched Doyoung's heart.

"The fact that he saw it, posted it thrice on his Instagram and even made his virtual banner in response to what we prepared for him was more than what we could ever have asked for. There were a lot of tears of joy shed the past two days, that's for sure," they said. 

Doyoung, together with his fellow NCT 127 members, treated their Filipino fans with a one-night show last Sunday where they performed their hit tracks "Kick It," "Cherry Bomb," and "Punch."
