'Buruguduystunstugudunstuy: Ang Parokya ni Edgar Musical' to premiere in April 2024

You can now mark your calendars as Newport World Resorts just announced that the show’s run will start in April 2024.
“This April, get ready to jump on the journey of four women sa isa sa pinakaaabangang musical sa bansa featuring the songs of Parokya ni Edgar,” NWR Musicals said on Facebook.
“Malapit nang magbukas ang ticket selling kaya stay tuned for more details,” they added.
In the post, Full House Theater Company also gave a gist of what the musical is about.
“In a whirlwind of unpredictable twists, four women find themselves at the crossroads of their individual challenges. As fate intertwines their paths, they embark on an extraordinary journey of self-discovery, resilience, and unbreakable bonds.”
The Parokya ni Edgar musical was first announced in July 2023 during the final curtain call of "Ang Huling El Bimbo."
Chito Miranda then revealed that the title would be “Buruguduystunstugudunstuy: Ang Parokya Ni Edgar Musical” in September.
The cast of the musical was completed and announced together with the creative team in December.
“Buruguduystunstugudunstuy” is Parokya’s debut album released in 1997. It is home to the OPM classics “Harana,” “Silvertoes,” “Sayang,” and “Please Don’t Touch My Birdie.”
