'Drag Den Philippines' to hold grand opening night for Season 2 for free

True to its advocacy of delivering drag performances closer and more accessible to the fans and outside of clubs, "Drag Den Philippines" will be hosting a free grand opening night to usher in an all-new season for the show.

Prime Video Philippines shared the announcement on Instagram on Thursday.

“Humanda na for exciting reveals at sa pinakabonggang Drag Den with Manila Luzon Season 2: Retribution Media Con!” Prime Video wrote.

“Ang absent malalagot sa’ting Drag Lord! See you there, Drag Addicts!" it added.

The free event — which will feature a media conference, performances, an exhibit, a "Dragdagulan" drag showdown, and a red carpet — will be held on January 17, Wednesday, at the TriNoma Activity Center in Quezon City.

Last month, "Drag Den Philippines" revealed its cast for Season 2, which includes Deja, Elvira, Feyvah Fatale, Jean Vilogue, Margaux, Maria Lava, Marlyn, Moi, Mrs Tan, and Russia Fox.

The teaser also reintroduced Sassa Gurl as the Drag Runner, Nicole Cordoves as the Drag Dealer, and Manila Luzon as the Drag Lord.

The show also named Dolly de Leon, Megan Young, Rufa Mae Quinto, Yeng Constantino, BINI, Alodia Gosiengfiao, Andrea Brillantes, and "RuPaul's Drag Race" legend Alaska as the guest judges, also known as Drag Enforcers.

"Drag Den Philippines" Season 2 is set to stream exclusively on Prime Video beginning January 18.
