Laufey to perform with Manila Philharmonic Orchestra in special concert

Laufey is making an exciting return to the Philippines in May, this time for a special concert with the Manila Philharmonic Orchestra.

"Laufey: A Night at the Symphony" with the Manila Philharmonic Orchestra is happening on May 28 at the PICC Plenary Hall in Pasay City.

According to an announcement by organizers Karpos, ticket prices range from P2,750 for Balcony to P5,990 for SVIP.

The artist pre-sale starts on January 10 at 10 a.m. to January 11 at 10 p.m. or until supplies last. Fans need to register on Laufey’s website to get the code. The general on-sale will be on January 12 at 10 a.m.

Guests are highly encouraged to dress in semi-formal or formal attire for the occasion.

Laufey was previously in Manila in 2023 for a concert at the Filinvest Tent in Muntinlupa City.

The 24-year-old Icelandic-Chinese jazz-pop singer is best known for the songs “From the Start,” “Let You Break My Heart Again,” and “Valentine.”

Meanwhile, the Manila Philharmonic Orchestra is among the most renowned musical groups in the Philippines. In 2023, they memorably performed for the concert, “Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets."
