'Gyeongseong Creature' renewed for season 2 on Netflix

Are you one of the many who binge-watched the last three episodes of “Gyeongseong Creature” on Netflix over the weekend?

If you're left with tons of questions, don't worry – Netflix has got you covered. The streaming platform has announced that the show will have a Season 2 set in 2024 Seoul.

In a post-credit footage that Netflix also posted today, a character named “Ho-jae” who resembles Jang Tae-sang (Park Seo-jun) turns to the camera to reveal a scar reminiscent of the parasite introduced in the show.

In a press release, director Chung Dong-yoon shares his vision for “Gyeongseong Creature’s” next chapter saying, “Season 2 presents a story with a completely different charm. The change in space and time period will provide a clear distinction, offering an expanded universe feel.”
