Liza Soberano is in a coming-of-rage movie!
In the official trailer of “Lisa Frankenstein,” Liza opens the video as Taffy, who asks her stepsister Lisa (Kathryn Newton) about the guy she likes.
Later in the trailer when Lisa dons an upgraded goth look, high school cheerleader Taffy says, “She could probably even do pageants if she had congeniality.”
Taffy also quickly appears in a bathrobe and hair rollers.
Directed by Zelda Williams and written by Diablo Cody, "Lisa Frankenstein" is inspired by the gothic novel "Frankenstein" by English writer Mary Shelley.
The movie follows Lisa, a misunderstood teenager and her high school crush played by Cole Sprouse, who happens to be a handsome corpse.
The film is Liza’s Hollywood debut and premieres in United States Cinemas in February.
In 2023, Liza started a new era when she signed with James Reid’s talent agency, Careless. Aside from Hollywood, Liza also plans to enter Korean entertainment.
The 26-year-old has also openly talked about her thoughts on Philippine showbiz, working behind the camera, and love teams.
