'Firefly' to hit UAE cinemas on January 18

Good news to Global Pinoys in the United Arab Emirates: "Firefly" is heading to UAE cinemas on January 18!

Viva Middle East announced the news on Wednesday with the trailer of the film, which won Best Picture and Best Screenplay in the Metro Manila Film Festival 2023.

Directed by Zig Dulay, "Firefly" stars Euwenn Mikael, who also won Best Child Performer for his role as Tonton.

The latest offering from GMA Pictures and GMA Public Affairs also stars Alessandra de Rossi, Dingdong Dantes, and Epy Quizon, who all received nominations for Best Supporting Actress and Best Supporting Actor categories in the MMFF Gabi ng Parangal.

Miguel Tanfelix, Ysabel Ortega, Yayo Aguila, Cherry Pie Picache, and Max Collins are also part of the cast.

"Firefly" is now showing in over one hundred cinemas in the Philippines.
