5 New Year's Eve events around Metro Manila where you can countdown to 2024
We’re welcoming a fresh, new year in a few days. Can you believe 2024 is already upon us?
To kick off the year with good luck and great energy, here are five events around Metro Manila that have prepared spectacular fireworks displays, complemented by a “pasabog” lineup of performances from today's brightest artists.
GMA x SM Mall of Asia
SM Mall of Asia has partnered with GMA Network to host the grandest countdown to 2024.
Among the Kapuso celebrities who will grace this event include Michelle Dee, Julie Anne San Jose, Ken Chan, Kyline Alcantara, Rabiya Mateo, Rita Daniela, Rayver Cruz, Christian Bautista, Sanya Lopez, Ysabel Ortega, and Sofia Pablo, among others.
P-Pop groups like 1st One and Hori7on are also set to perform.
The NYE Countdown to 2024 at Mall of Asia will be held at Seaside Blvd. from 10 p.m.
Bonifacio High Street
OPM meets K-Pop at this spectacular event organized by Bonifacio Global City!
Set against the stellar city skyline, NYE at the 5th will welcome 2024 in an epic way with a fusion of OPM and K-Pop, featuring one of the leading girl groups of the 3rd generation of K-pop: Irene, Seulgi, and Wendy from Red Velvet.
OPM legend Ely Buendia and chart-topping artists Zack Tabuldo, KZ Tandingan, and Adie will also offer performances.
The NYE at the 5th will be held at 5th Ave., Bonifacio Global City, from 6 p.m. onwards.
Eastwood Mall
Eastwood City is set to usher in 2024 with unparalleled energy, excitement, and spectacular performances at the Eastwood City New Year Countdown.
Headlining this year’s celebration is the sensational pop artist Morissette. KD Estrada, Alexa Ilacad, Sunkissed Lola, Armi Millare, 1st One, PlayerTwo, and Silent Sanctuary are joining her on stage.
Adding charm and wit to the evening, the dynamic duo Janeena Chan and Tito Mikee Reyes will host the event.
The Eastwood - Quezon City New Year Countdown to 2024 will be held at Eastwood Mall Open Park from 6 p.m.
Quezon Memorial Circle
Quezon City is undoubtedly bringing the festivities to 2024!
True to giving the LGBTQIA+ a safe space in QC, among the city’s headliners for its 2024 countdown include “It’s Showtime” mainstay Vice Ganda, as well as “Drag Race Philippines” queens Precious Paula Nicole, Captivating Katkat, Arizona Brandy, and Bernie.
The event also doesn’t fall short of offering fantastic music performances from OPM bands Cueshe, Mayonnaise, The Dawn, Shamrock, Imago, Autotelic, Orange & Lemons, and Tropical Depression.
The QC Countdown to 2024 will be held at Quezon Memorial Circle from 4 p.m. onwards.
Ayala Avenue
Nostalgia meets the future for Makati’s New Year countdown!
For this event, P-Pop group SB19 will set the stage on fire with their thrilling performances, followed by Regine Velasquez-Alcasid, Sponge Cola, Al James, and some of the country’s leading musical theater artists like Gab Pangilinan and Phi Palmos.
The Makati New Year countdown will be held at Ayala Avenue from 6 p.m.
