Paramore wipes social media accounts, sparks speculations among fans

Surely ain’t fun for Paramore fans.

American rock band Paramore left their fans confused after they took down their social media profile pictures on Tuesday.

Additionally, all previous posts on the band’s Instagram and X (formerly Twitter) accounts have been deleted.

This came at the heels of the band's announcement that the members are now free agents and the band’s future is “uncertain.”

The band’s latest album, “This is Why,” was released in February 2023, marking their return after a five-year hiatus.

Despite the latest developments, fans can rest easy knowing that Paramore has shows booked for 2024. They are set to be Taylor Swift’s opening act for her “Eras Tour” in Europe starting in May 2024. —Jade Veronique Yap/JCB, GMA Integrated News
