Michael V. drops new parody 'Sipilyo,' based on Sunkissed Lola's 'Pasilyo'

Michael V. is back with another hilarious and creative parody!

The King of Philippine Parody turned SunKissed Lola’s top hit about the feeling of being in love, “Pasilyo,” into a song titled “Sipilyo.”

“Sipilyo” by ‘Sang Kiss Muna featured a whole music video written, directed, and performed by Bitoy for an episode of “Bubble Gang.” The song is all about seeing someone who doesn’t brush their teeth, with Bitoy singing, “dilaw na dilaw.”

“Pasilyo” by SunKissed Lola is among the year’s top songs, earning the no. 1 spot on Spotify Philippines’ most streamed songs in the Philippines in 2023. It also made it to Google's list of most searched songs globally this year.

Another OPM hit Michael V. recently spoofed is Lola Amour’s “Raining in Manila,” which they also performed on “Bubble Gang” and the band’s tour finale.
