PH bet Yllana Marie Aduana channels Maria Makiling for her Miss Earth 2023 National Costume
PH bet Yllana Marie Aduana channeled her inner goddess for the national costume competition at the Miss Earth 2023 stage.
Clad in a mountain-like skirt, an intricate golden piece with a matching headdress, the costume draws inspiration from the diwata Maria Makiling, associated with the famous Mount Makiling in Laguna.
It’s interesting to note that Yllana hails from Siniloan, Laguna.
According to her, the costume is made of recyclable plastic materials and food containers cut into leaf-like patterns.
Yllana has been busy with Miss Earth 2023 activities. Just last week, she made it to the list of the Top 5 Best Appearance, giving her a chance to double her voting points for the Miss People’s Choice award.
Voting for Best in Bikini Award is also currently ongoing via Miss Earth’s Facebook.
The candidates also recently had a long gown photoshoot, where Yllana dazzled in her golden goddess look. She also shared some candid snaps with Miss Earth Albania, Drita Ziri.
Yllana flew to Vietnam for the international pageant in November and vowed to do her best to bring the Miss Earth crown back to the country.
The Miss Earth 2023 coronation night is set to take place on December 22 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center.
