Netflix releases list of most-watched shows for the first half of 2023
How many hours have you spent on Netflix, and what’s your favorite show on the platform?
In a recent press release, Netflix announced the publication of the 'What We Watched: A Netflix Engagement Report' twice a year, sharing insights into viewership trends over a six-month period.
With only around two weeks left in 2023, Netflix has released the first half of the report, featuring the most-viewed shows from January to June 2023.
Based on the list, Netflix highlighted several trends, including the continued popularity of favorites such as “Ginny & Georgia,” “You,” and “Alice in Borderland,” among others.
The report also pointed out the rising popularity of new series like “The Glory,” “Beef,” “The Night Agent,” and “The Diplomat,” to name a few.
There is a notable enthusiasm for non-English stories, which accounted for 30% of all viewing, according to the report.
