'Firefly' holds special advance screening attended by Kapuso stars and personalities

Kapuso stars and personalities gather on a sparkling Tuesday night to attend the special advance screening of “Firefly,” the official entry to the 2023 Metro Manila Film Festival by GMA Pictures and GMA Public Affairs.

According to Aubrey Carampel’s report on “24 Oras,” the movie’s stars – Alessandra de Rossi, Euwenn Mikaell, Miguel Tanfelix, Ysabel Ortega, Max Collins, Yayo Aguila, Epy Quizon, and Cherry Pie Picache were all in attendance as well as the film’s director,  Zig Dulay.

Also present were GMA Pictures Senior Vice President and First Vice President for Public Affairs Nessa Valdellon, Miss Universe 2023 Top 10 finalist Michelle Dee, Kapuso Primetime Princess Barbie Forteza, Radson Flores, and multi-awarded broadcast journalist Jessica Soho.

“Ini-invite ko po kayo na manood ng Firefly this December 25. Dalhin po ninyo ang buong pamilya nyo kasi pang-buong pamilya ito,” said Euwenn.

“Mga Kapuso on December 25 na po palabas na ang aming pelikulang Firefly. Please dalhin niyo ‘yung bauong family nyo and hindi kayo mabibigo, promise,” added Alessandra.

“Firefly” is a coming-of-age road trip drama about a young boy who searches for the mythical island described in his mother’s stories.

The movie will also have the special participation of Kapuso Primetime King, Dingdong Dantes.

“Firefly” will premiere in Philippine cinemas on December 25.
