Rivermaya teases fans with rehearsal photo for reunion concert

Rivermaya got fans excited with the first rehearsal photo of their upcoming reunion concert.

Rico Blanco’s latest Instagram post showed him playing the guitar and singing with Bamboo Manalac on vocals, Nathan Azaron on bass, and Mark Escueta on drums.

Fans filled the comments section with fire and heart emojis, and also said that they can’t wait to see the band play live together again.

Rivermaya's reunion happens on February 17, 2024 at the SMDC Festival Grounds in Paranaque City. It is the same venue where another legendary OPM band, the Eraserheads, had their reunion concert.

Ticket selling started on November 17. This is Live Nation's first OPM show after it formally launched its Philippine office last April 2022 and immediately brought a slew of foreign acts to the country.

Rivermaya is best known for songs like "214," "Kisapmata," "Elesi," "Awit ng Kabataan" and more.
Bamboo left the band in 1998, with Rico Blanco taking over as vocalist until he also left Rivermaya in 2007.
