BTS' V will co-star in IU's upcoming music video

Two South Korean music icons have joined forces!

V of BTS is confirmed to co-star in IU’s upcoming music video.

IU’s agency EDAM Entertainment said that filming has already finished.

“IU completed filming her music video with BTS’s V, and her album is being prepared with the aim to be released in the first half [of next year],” the company said, as reported by Soompi.

The upcoming video marks IU’s first comeback in two years. The top singer released her album “Pieces” in 2021.

IU is best known for the songs “Lilac,” “Bbibbi,” “Blueming,” and “Strawberry Moon." Last year, she kicked off a concert tour called "The Golden Hour: Under the Orange Sun."

She was also featured in "People Pt. 2," a solo song by BTS member SUGA, also known as Agust D.

IU is also starring in the upcoming K-Drama “You Have Done Well” with Park Bo Gum.

Meanwhile, V released his debut solo album “Layover” last September. It includes the songs “Love Me Again,” “Rainy Days,” “Slow Dancing,” “Blue,” and “For Us.”
