K-pop girl group Blackpink has achieved another milestone as the music video for their hit song “Kill This Love” surpassed 1.9 billion views on YouTube.
Blackpink shared the exciting news through an Instagram post on Monday.
“Kill This Love,” is the group’s second most-viewed music video behind “Ddu-ddu-ddu’s” 2.1 billion views.
Blackpink secured the position of Spotify’s second-highest-ranking Global K-pop Artist of 2023, following BTS.
In early November, the members of Blackpink were honored guests at the Korean State Banquet held at Buckingham Palace in London, United Kingdom.
During the event, the group was bestowed with the Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) medals, personally awarded by the King Charles himself.
Buckingham Palace cited the recognition as a result of Blackpink's role as COP26 Advocates during the United Nations climate summit held in Glasgow in 2021.
