'Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire' drops trailer
A sequel to the American monster film "Godzilla vs. Kong" is set to hit theaters in 2024.
On Monday, Warner Bros. unveiled an approximately 180-second trailer for "Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire." The trailer showcases the two iconic titans discovering a colossal threat lurking in the mysterious Hollow Earth. Together, they strive to put a stop to this danger and assert dominance over the world.
According to a press release, the sequel will delve deeper into the histories and origins of these Titans.
It will also unravel the mysteries of Skull Island and beyond, revealing the mythic battle that forged these extraordinary beings and forever tied them to humankind.
The trailer highlights the return of Rebecca Hall, Brian Tyree Henry, and Kaylee Hottle to the movie. It also introduces new characters to be played by Dan Stevens, Fala Chen, Alex Ferns, and Rachel House.
In 2021, "Godzilla vs. Kong" premiered in theaters nationwide.
