UP Diliman to hold a lecture on the biology of titans from 'Attack on Titan'

Calling all AOT fans! 

The University of the Philippines Diliman’s Institute of Biology will be hosting a lecture on Tuesday, December 5, focusing on the biology of the Titans, the powerful creatures featured in the popular anime, “Attack on Titan” (AOT).

Titled “Beyond the Walls: Examining the Biology of the Titans in Shingeki No Kyojin,” the lecture is a student output from BIO 196, a special course offered by the institute.

The lecture is scheduled to start at 6 p.m. via Zoom. Everyone is welcome to attend the event, and those interested can register via the Zoom link posted on their Facebook page.

Set in a post-apocalyptic world where the remains of humanity live behind walls protecting them from giant humanoid Titans, “Attack on Titan” follows protagonist Eren Yeager, along with friends Mikasa Ackerman and Armin Arlert, as they strive to defeat the Titans that destroyed their hometown.

The final season of the hit animated series premiered on November 5, 2023.
