Lola Amour officially releases 'Waiting Here sa Pila' with Michael V. as part of tour EP

You can now stream “Waiting Here sa Pila” by Michael V. and Lola Amour on digital platforms!  

The King of Philippine Parody and the OPM band officially released the spoof as a single. The song is part of Lola Amour’s tour EP, “Raining in Manila (Tour Edition).”

Bitoy memorably spoofed Lola Amour’s top hit “Raining in Manila” for a “Bubble Gang” skit. As Lolo Kanor, he turned it into “Waiting Here sa Pila,” about lining up for coffee despite not having any money.

The artists also joined forces to perform the song for the gag show’s 28th anniversary. Michael V. also joined Lola Amour for their tour finale in character as Lolo Kanor.

Aside from “Waiting Here sa Pila,” the EP also holds the live and Ambon Version of “Raining in Manila,” as well as lo-fi and after hours remixes, and a remix by DJ Young.

Lola Amour’s “Raining in Manila” was released in June and has since been a sensation. Even ENHYPEN, National Artist Ricky Lee, and BamBam can’t get enough of the track. —Nika Roque/JCB, GMA Integrated News
