As seen in a video posted by GMA Integrated News on Instagram, Michelle spoke in front of her supporters, who welcomed her with a grand airport salubong on Saturday evening.

“Maraming-maraming salamat sa pagpunta niyo dito,” the Kapuso beauty queen said.

“Alam niyo naman na ginawa ko po talaga lahat, lahat ng makakaya ko para ipaglaban tayo. Sayang, alam niyo ‘yun kung ano ‘yung sayang. Pero lahat ng nangyayari may dahilan. Alam ko marami pa tayong puwedeng maipakita sa buong mundo. Ipinakita talaga natin kung gaano kalakas ang bayanihan spirit ng Pilipinas,” Michelle said.

Michelle finished her Miss Universe 2023 journey in the Top 10. She also took home four special awards, including the Voice for Change video competition, at the coronation night in El Salvador last Sunday.
