'Voltes V: Legacy' figure announced at Bandai's Tamashii Nations exhibits in Japan


Another proud moment for the Philippines, especially for the fans and the team of "Voltes V: Legacy!"

Kapuso director Mark Reyes shared on Instagram that a Voltes V: Legacy" figure has been announced by Japanese toy manufacturer Bandai at the Tamashii Nations exhibits in Japan.

This comes over two months after the epic finale of the live action adaptation on GMA Network.

"We should all be proud," Direk Mark said. "This is the first robot toy line that is based on a 100 percent Pinoy made live action adaptation of a Japanese anime franchise!"

The "Voltes V: Legacy" director congratulated the main cast in the caption, namely Miguel Tanfelix, Ysabel Ortega, Radson Flores, Matt Lozano, and Raphael Landicho, as well as the team behind the successful GMA series.

TOEI Company, which owns the "Voltes V" franchise, previously said that they are looking to introduce the adaptation to a global audience.

Direk Mark also teased a possible continuation of the series.
