SB19 cancels Singapore concert to 'prioritize well-being'

SB19 has canceled their Singapore concert.

Originally scheduled for November 15, the show will no longer push through due to “[unforeseen] circumstances,” and following consideration and discussions with all involved groups, an announcement by 1Z Entertainment said.

“We have spared no effort to ensure that this event will proceed, yet it is deemed best to prioritize the well-being of our Artists,” the statement said.

“We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this has caused to all the fans who were looking forward to this event and the delayed notice in our attempt to exhaust all efforts,” it added. “We appreciate your understanding and continuous support towards Pablo, Josh, Stell, Ken, and Justin. They are looking forward to giving you outstanding performances in the future.”

Tickets will be refunded through the original payment method and will be done within 14 business days. Merch refunds are also available.

The concert’s cancellation happened following SB19’s departure from their agency, ShowBT Entertainment. They launched their own company 1Z Entertainment in October.

Singapore was supposed to be the first stop of the Asian leg of SB19’s PAGTATAG! World Tour. They are scheduled to perform in Thailand, Dubai, and Japan.

SB19 debuted in 2018. In their five years as a group, they released top hits like “GENTO,” toured the world, appeared on US morning shows, and made history as the first Filipino act to be nominated for a Billboard Music Award.

They also recently premiered their first podcast “Atin Atin Lang,” and graced the cover of Billboard Philippines as its first cover stars.
